On behalf of the Governing Body and staff, may I extend a warm welcome to Tonnau Primary Community School.
Tonnau Primary School is an English medium school situated in the Neath Valley approximately 2 miles from the centre of Neath which currently has 213 pupils aged 3-11. Situated in the heart of the village of Tonna, the school prides itself on the links it has fostered with the local community.
We believe that the partnership we establish with the parents and carers of our pupils are key to developing and achieving happiness and success in our pupils. We are a happy, caring school that places great emphasis on the well-being of our pupils. We aim to create an environment that will foster independence and a love of learning.
This website aims to provide information to our existing families, prospective families and friends of the school and I hope this website gives you a flavour of what goes on in our school.
If you require any further information or would like to visit our school, please do not hesitate to contact us using the contact details provided on this site.
Best wishes

Dear Parents / Carers, due to a change in LA policy, we will not be keeping in school or administering Calpol in the future. If Calpol is needed for an injury or illness then you will need to come to the office and complete a form and provide the Calpol for use by your child. We are happy to administer any other medication such as antibiotics as long as a form is completed at the office. Thank you for your cooperation. N Richards Groups: All 28/03/2025 01:04 |

Asthmatic Pupils - If your child has a diagnosis of Asthma could you please inform me by email. This could be a current or new diagnosis. Plans e.g 'wheeze plans' can be handed in to the office to ensure your child has the best care. Parents are responsible ensuring that all asthma pumps in school are kept up to date. Also, please let me know if your child is deemed to be no longer asthmatic. Many thanks. J. Hopkins Email: HopkinsJ62@hwbcymru.net Groups: All 26/03/2025 11:18 |
