Some pupils bring in cakes to share with the class on birthdays. This is a very lovely thing to do, but can we please ask if the cakes are ‘cut up’ already. Single, little cakes are brilliant – but if big cakes could be divided up at home, this would save time in classrooms – Thanks for your help.
Half Term next week
Next week is Half Term – school starts back for pupils on Monday, 24th February.
INSET reminder
Can we just remind you all of our INSET Day this Friday – February 14th. School will be closed for pupils.
Home/School Communication
Our school is proud to announce that we have adopted a new app for schools called Schoop. Schoop will
improve the way we communicate with you and our school community. During the next few days, information will be shared with you all to enable everyone to access the app. Once everything is in place, we shall start to slowly communicate with you all through Schoop – If there are any issues, please let me know.
Lunchtime Supervisors
If anyone would like to be considered as one of our relief Lunchtime Supervisors, please contact us here at the school. It is a paid position and our supervisors help keep our lunchtimes calm and safe – they are a brilliant team!!!
Movember
As you may have noticed, I’ve been growing a moustache, for charity, through November. Now that the month is over – If anyone would like to donate any small change to my ‘pot’, you are very welcome. Money can be put into a labelled envelope and sent to school with pupils. Once I have a final total, the money will be sent to Macmillan Cancer Support.
Thank you for considering my request
Yours sincerely
Lloyd Jones
New Musical Instruments
The help and support we receive from our PTA is always brilliant. As a result of various recent events we have taken delivery of a substantial number of musical instruments. The instruments were ordered, organised and delivered by Mrs Barnes and Mrs Loaring: Thank you both. New musical instruments are a real treat and we are very grateful!!!

Lost Property
We do our best, in school, to try and keep jumpers, hoodies and coats as safe as we can. No matter how hard we try, we sometimes have clothing getting lost or mixed up. Can we please ask, if an item of clothing makes it home to you – but with someone else’s name on it – please could it all be returned to school.
Thanks for your help.
