If anyone has any old games such as ‘Snakes and Ladders’, Draughts or ‘Connect 4’, I know these would be put to great use in our Breakfast Club. Any old LEGO sets would much appreciated too – Any donations of games and activities like this would be FANTASTIC!

The Local Authority need us to carry out a ‘sweep’ of dinner money arrears this Friday (18/1/2019) – It would be lovely if all dinner money accounts could be in credit by the end of the week please.

Local Authority Inclusion Officers, in collaboration with key staff from the Cefn Saeson cluster of schools, are pleased to invite you to an information sharing event in Cefn Saeson Comprehensive School on Tuesday January 15th 2019 between 6 and 7pm.

As you may be aware, the Additional Learning Needs Education and Tribunal Act (Wales) 2018 has recently been passed by Welsh Government and this makes a number of changes to the current system. This event has been designed to help you understand how the new system that supports children and young people with Additional Learning Needs will work.

There will be Christmas Parties, in school time, for our Infant pupils on Tuesday afternoon 18th and for the Juniors on Wednesday afternoon 19th of December.
If pupils would like to wear their own clothes to the parties next week that’s fine; if pupils would rather come in their school uniform that’s no problem also.

Thank you very much for supporting our Christmas fete last week – It was fantastic to see the hall so full!  All of the money we raise will help support resources within our school.

Everyone should have had order forms to buy tickets for our Christmas Concerts. If you have not had a form please contact the school to book tickets.

Christmas dinner this year is on Thursday, 20th December.  It’s not too late to book a dinner.  If you haven’t booked a dinner yet and you’d like your child to have a Christmas dinner – please contact the office.

Please could everyone take care when parking around our school. The zig zag lines are usually clear; please could lanes, drives and other access roads be kept equally clear. Also our Car Park is staff only or authorised users, I’m sorry but we can’t make the car park available for parents at the end of the day – Thank you for your help.

If anyone has not returned the school information forms yet, please could they be returned to the office as soon as possible. If you’ve lost your form and would like another one please contact the office.
