Year 2 did so well leading our Harvest celebrations today!
Investigating in Year 2
We are independent learners and thinkers in Year 2! We thought of something we wanted to improve e.g. our understanding of 10x tables and chose a way to help us practice. We investigated a range of maths equipment and learnt what helps us learn best.
Leaf rainbows
We talked about how the seasons change and the variety of colours leaves turn into. We went exploring together to gather as many different colour leaves before investigating our new forest school area. We loved being curious about all the different creatures 🙂

We learnt how to get dressed for forest school and explored our outdoor area! We loved the mud, took turns and shared 🙂
Outdoor learning
We enjoyed the warm autumn weather to go outdoors and explore our outdoor learning areas.
Hero Party Day
we had an amazing day celebrating real life and superheroes! We had a parade to show our amazing costumes, went on a scavenger hunt, played pass the parcel and enjoyed some yummy treats. We loved our lollies to finish the day!!
Urdd activity day!
Years 1 to 5 had a wonderful day with Cian from the Urdd who led each year group through Welsh Urdd activities. Da iawn pawb!
