Dear Parents/Carers – All schools have been asked to share this information with their communities:
The Children and Families Team is currently running a programme of online courses to support parents.
The Reconnect Group is starting Thursday 20th May on Microsoft Teams 10-11.30am. This group offers a series of tools and techniques to support parents and carers of children/young people who display challenging attitudes and behaviours. As parents gain greater confidence and self-control, this enables difficult issues to be addressed in an effective manner through a process of increasing parental presence.

Join in for one, five or ten days between 19 and 30 April 2021 to be in with a chance of winning fabulous prizes every day.
On each day of the challenge schools compete to see who can record the greatest number of pupils, staff and parents cycling, walking, scooting or using a wheelchair to school.
Juniors pupils can bring their bikes and scooters into the yard. Each class will have a station to park them.
Infants will park up in front of their classroom windows on the yard.
Nursery will use their own yard.
Many thanks for your support.
