On behalf of the Governing Body and staff, may I extend a warm welcome to Tonnau Primary Community School.
Tonnau Primary School is an English medium school situated in the Neath Valley approximately 2 miles from the centre of Neath which currently has 213 pupils aged 3-11. Situated in the heart of the village of Tonna, the school prides itself on the links it has fostered with the local community.
We believe that the partnership we establish with the parents and carers of our pupils are key to developing and achieving happiness and success in our pupils. We are a happy, caring school that places great emphasis on the well-being of our pupils. We aim to create an environment that will foster independence and a love of learning.
This website aims to provide information to our existing families, prospective families and friends of the school and I hope this website gives you a flavour of what goes on in our school.
If you require any further information or would like to visit our school, please do not hesitate to contact us using the contact details provided on this site.
Best wishes

Some of the children are reading RWI green books in class. To progress to the next level , the children should recognise some high frequency words. We have sent home a copy of these words with these children. If you can, we would you appreciate you practicing these at home. . Groups: Reception (Mrs Harris) 04/04/2025 03:27 |

Photo Day tomorrow - Bore Da, as it is our class photo day tomorrow which clashes with our PE day, please could the children come to school in their uniform for the photograph and not in their PE kit. We will still do PE in the afternoon but they can stay in their uniform just for tomorrow. The children are welcome to bring a change of footwear if you would prefer.
